Hosting a party and many guest have not RSVP’d by our date on the mailed private invitation. In the past, we often see these guests show up late, unexpectedly, and it’s awkward. I of course invite them in, but it’s always a problem as I would have better accommodation and gifts had they RSVP’d. ( more seating, food, drinks etc.) I really don’t have the time to follow up with everyone and hold their hand to RSVP. Anyone else deal with this situation? What works for you?
