I’m currently exploring options for free web hosting services and am seeking recommendations. My primary concern is finding a service that offers a more friendly system in terms of activity requirements and deletion policies. Specifically, I’m looking for:
No Harsh Deletion Policies: A hosting service that won’t delete my site if it doesn’t receive a high number of visits or if I don’t log in frequently.
Reasonable Activity Requirements: Ideally, a host that is understanding of varying levels of website activity, whether the site is frequently visited or only occasionally.
Hit Limits (if applicable): Information on any hit limits would also be appreciated, as well as how these are calculated (e.g., per IP or collective).
I’m looking to host a simple blog, so I don’t need very advanced features. My main goal is reliability and a user-friendly policy regarding site activity and retention.
